We compete in a variety of competitions throughout the year, in many different disciplines. We are part of LUCA, which is the London Universities and Colleges Athletics league. LUCA organises XC competitions in Term 1 and 2, an indoor athletics meet in Term 1, and outdoor athletics meets in terms 2 and 3.

We also compete in other competitions through the year, including local 5km and 10km races held in London parks, Hyde Park and Teddy Hall team relays, and trail and half marathon races held further afield.

For those looking for the highest level of competition, we participate in BUCS - British Universities and Colleges Sport. These competitions are a chance to compete against the best students in sport across the UK. We enter teams into BUCS XC, BUCS indoor and outdoor athletics, BUCS duathlon and BUCS triathlon.

LUCA cross country League

The London Universities and Colleges Athletics (LUCA)’s London Colleges League is a historic cross-country league for universities in London. Held across five races over two terms, athletes compete for individual and team success.

LUCA INDOor championships and outdoor series

The London College Athletics comprises of an indoor championship and a three match outdoor series. The Indoor Championship runs in parallel to the University of London Championships. Athletes compete for individual points which accumulate towards their university's total.
